I'm not good at this blogging stuff but I'll try my best =)
Our first task for this first class; introducing ourselves (which also, I'm not good at).
OK.. I'm Dyg. Nur Salda Dharfifi bt. Awg. Salleh, formally called Dayang and friends call me Sal, a Sarawakian, 22 years old and I want to be a teacher =) I love to read. I'm a quiet girl. And will always be seen with my best friend of 10 years; Ms. Marlisa Othman =))
My skills and knowledge of computers.. I was totally a Digital Divide when I first stepped into my first IT class in high school. I don't even know what a 3 1/2 Floppy is. Pathetic, I know. But then I've learnt something, of course. And still learning.
Well, as a student in this Multimedia Super Corridor era, I operate well using MS Office. I have some knowledge about Adobe Photoshop, and have a few attempts to learn Flash, Swish, etc. but severely failed (but this class just sparks a new spirit for me!). And I also have tiny knowledge about Visual Basic.
Internet makes our live so much easier. I don't have pick up the phone to keep in touch with friends and family since there are YM, Friendster and Facebook etc. I don't have to browse all the books in the library since there are OPEC and precious Google. I don't have to walk to the stores for latest and movies since there are Torrent, Youtube, etc. I won't worry if I missed my weekly drama series since there is Catchup TV. I don't have to go to MAS office or Air Asia counters since the tickets can be bought 'fingertip-ly'. And the list goes on.. Basically those are the activities that I oftenly engaged in.
See? Life's so easy with Internet access. Hm.. May be one day I can withdraw my money through my printer and have my McD delivered through bluetooth =p
My..my..technology makes us lazier (~,~)
OK..OK..I'm done.
Happy new year everyone! (^o^)
